Welcome. My name is Bobby Kubin, and I am a licensed professional freshwater fishing guide who has a passion for catching catfish. I grew up in Ennis, Texas, and spent many spring and summer days on the water, either fishing stock tanks or bank fishing various lakes during summer family camping trips. I was fortunate enough to have lots of relatives with stock tanks loaded with fish. I bought my first bass boat at age 16 and quickly began fishing just about every lake within a few hours drive of the house. I enjoy fishing for bass, sand bass, crappie, hybrids, just about any kind of saltwater fish and, of course, CATFISH. I also enjoy hunting in the fall and winter. I have a wonderful wife Kelly and the father of two wonderful children. I am a proponent of taking kids fishing. My daughter, Abby, loves to fish with her daddy. She is also the current Jr. Angler record holder for blue cats and channel cats on Lake Lewisville. I’m quite sure our little boy Trip will enjoy fishing as well. I encourage you to take your children and your family fishing, and to get them involved in the outdoors. I have made several appearances on Luke Clayton’s Outdoor Radio Show and the Buckeye Sportsman Outdoor show with Dan Armitage. Bobby’s Catfish Guide Service has also been featured in several outdoor publications including In-Fisherman Magazine, Texas Sportsman, and the Fort Worth Star Telegram. I have reached a point in my life where I enjoy helping and teaching others how to catch fish. There is nothing more fulfilling than the smile on the face of a child catching his or her first fish or even adults catching the biggest fish of their life.
