Summer is here and the weather isn’t the only thing that’s hot. The catfish bite on Lewisville and Grapevine is still going strong. Both lakes are producing great numbers of eating size cats fishing a variety of patterns and depths with Secret 7 dip bait by Team Catfish and fresh shad. I am currently booking trips for some fun-filled and exciting catfish action for blue cats and channel cats on both Lake Lewisville and Grapevine Lake. Both lakes are very convenient to Dallas and Fort Worth and are both within a 30 minute gas-saving drive from most areas near the DFW Metroplex. There is nothing more exciting than shallow water catfishing. The sound of bait-clickers screaming, corks vanishing in the blink of an eye, and the site of a big catfish thrashing on the surface of knee-deep water can make anyone’s adrenaline going. We are also at the beginning of some non-stop action fishing baited holes and deep water structure as well. I still have weekend dates available for Catfish Trips this Summer, but the dates are filling in fast. I am a licensed professional freshwater fishing guide who has a focus on catching channel cats and blue cats on Lake Lewisville and Grapevine. My goal is to provide you with an enjoyable and fun-filled outdoor experience. With over 25 years of fishing experience, I am able to locate and catch catfish using a variety of techniques and baits. I will provide custom-designed fishing trips to anglers of all experience levels. I will work with my clients to design a trip to either help them learn how to locate and catch catfish, or we can just go out and catch a cooler full for a fish fry. Let’s go catching! |
