Spring-time fishing is here and the catfish bite is really taking off. Our trips are producing excellent numbers of eating size cats fishing shallow water with Secret 7 dip bait by Team Catfish and fresh shad. I am currently booking trips for some amazing Spring-Time shallow water catfish trips for blue cats and channel cats on both Lake Lewisville and Grapevine Lake. There is nothing more exciting than sound of bait-clickers screaming, corks vanishing in seconds, and the site of a big catfish thrashing on the surface of knee-deep water. I still have weekend dates available for both Blue Cat and Channel Cat trips this Spring, but the dates are filling in fast. The channel cat spawn is right around the corner as well. Fishing the rocks during the spawn can produce lots of action on eating size channel cats. I am a licensed professional freshwater fishing guide who has a focus on catching channel cats and blue cats on Lake Lewisville and Grapevine. My goal is to provide you with an enjoyable and fun-filled outdoor experience. With over 25 years of fishing experience, I am able to locate and catch catfish using a variety of techniques and baits. I will provide custom-designed fishing trips to anglers of all experience levels. I will work with my clients to design a trip to either help them learn how to locate and catch catfish, or we can just go out and catch a cooler full for a fish fry. Let’s go catching!
